Network of Baby Savers in South Africa.
Baby Savers SA is a coalition of organisations, NPOs and PBOs that provide a safe alternative to unsafe baby abandonment through the use of a Baby Saver.
We believe a child’s best interests are of paramount importance in every matter concerning a child in accordance with section 28 of the Constitution of the Republic of South Africa.
A Baby Saver does not encourage abandonment, but rather offers a safe alternative to abandonment and should only be used as a last resort. Unsafe abandonment should never be an option.

Vision
To reduce unsafe abandonment of infants through guidance of relevant organisations with regards to installing and safely operating certified Baby Savers all over South Africa. To promote access to unbiased counselling and encourage support of mothers experiencing crisis pregnancy in order to ensure Baby Savers are a last resort with regards to safe relinquishment.
